Education in Contemporary Perspectives: Call for Papers   Event Date:
The dynamics of curriculum and by extension education requires that researchers, edu-cators, teachers/academics and indeed scholars should continuously be involved in the twin tasks of research and publication so as to meet the challenges of such ever chang-ing demands in our educational realm. It is in the light of the foregoing that, the Editors beneath are calling for papers to be published in the Book _Education in Contemporary Perspectives. The book, apart from its offline version, shall also be published online at www.needcsi.org. It offers chapters under:
o Language/Arts Education
o Girl Child Education/Childhood Education
o Science Education/ICT
o Vocational and Technical Education
o Special/Adult Education
o Educational Services
o General Education issues
o Any other relevant area
Contributors are to note that their chapters must emphasize current global trends in terms of curriculum issues, information technology application and assessment practices as well as other topical issues in their chosen areas.
Contributors are also expected to note the following:
* The latest APA style is to be used for both citation and referencing
* All papers must not exceed 18 A4 pages including reference and appendix to be typed double spacing, font 12 in MS Word
* All papers must be submitted online to terfaadaka@yahoo.com as attachment with the subject Chapter contribution latest August 15, 2010 for consideration. In addition, three hard copies of the paper must be sent to Adaka T. A., De-partment of Psychology, Federal College of Education (Tech), Gombe-Nigeria.
* All papers considered for publication, their author(s) would be contacted latest November 30, 2010 while the book is expected to be published by March, 2011.
* All papers must bear on the cover page the name(s), affiliate address, e-mail ID, Phone No and title of the author(s). Only academic titles are to be used.
* All papers are expected to be accompanied with a non-refundable vetting fee of two thousand naira (N2, 000=) only payable to Adaka Terfa A. at UBA account: 04650520019288. Evidence of payment should be sent to Adaka, T. A. along with the paper.
